Our fully CG Red Stag is seen in 15 shots of the series’ second episode as it's being hunted in the Scottish Highlands. We did a significant amount of research and reference gathering in order to create and animate the majestic stag. His proportions are based off the worlds largest known stag, the Emperor of Exmoor.
I was asset lead on the project and was responsible for the sculpt, model, texture, lookdev, blendshapes and facial rig of the Stag asset as well as shot lighting.
I was also responsible for modelling the internal anatomy of the Stag for muscle simulations.
